Special Events
Kick Off Party We will be having Kick Off Parties at both the Middlecreek Area Community Center (June 16th) and the Selinsgrove Career Link (June 17th). The parties will include fun games, music, crafts and a special visit from Clifford. You will also be able to register for the Summer Reading Program!
Clifford Clifford will be visiting all four libraries from June 15th to June 18th. Come visit with him and have your picture taken!
Pleasant Valley Dancers will be presenting a program called "Around the World in Dance". There will be dancers to perform a variety of ethnic dances, and then they will involve the audience by teaching them a few dances as well! There will also be a chance to try on some of the different costumes!
Family Literacy Program Puppet Show Every year the staff of the Family Literacy Program put on a fantastic puppet show. Come see what they have in store for us this year!
Making Music Join Kim Council from Susquehanna University as she leads the children in playing instruments, movement activities, dancing and making an instrument to take home! Fun for all - best for children 4-10.
Anne Lawrence She will be presenting a special program for preschool and elementary ages that will involve music and movement.
Sadie Green Sales Jug Band This old time jug band will have you hopping! Come see Tim and Dave play jugs, washboards, clarinets, banjos, spoons and much more! You may even have a chance to play a few of the instruments too!
Selinsgrove Dance School students will be performing a special show just for Summer Reading Program!
Drawing with Valerie Moyer Valerie will be visiting to do a fun program with the kids. She will be sharing a story and then showing the children how to draw! Fun for all ages!
Ham it Up! with Beverly join Beverly Kline-Lash as she shares fun theater games and activities with the children.
Get Crafty with Tina from Target Tina Kalcich and her helpers from Target will be at the library for a special craft program for all ages!
Elementary Programs
This year the elementary programs are all about creating, doing, and experiencing! We hope you will join us at the Selinsgrove Community Library for all the fun Mondays at 10am!
June 22nd Nature Art - We will be making art with things that you can find outside! We will also have local author J Leroy E to share his latest book with us!
July 6th Crafty Bird Houses - Come paint your own bird house and learn how to identify birds in your backyard.
July 13th I've got Rhythm - Come be part of the band! Make your own instrument!
July 20th Make Your own Puppet - Marionettes, sock puppets, box puppets and more. Come make your own!
July 27th Free Play - Painting with straws, theater games, and pizza!
This summer we will have movie nights for the entire family! Enjoy great films for the whole family and snack on popcorn. The best part - it's free!

Thursday, July 23rd at 2pm Rolling Green Amusement Park
Beverly Curry will be here to give a presentation on the history of Rolling Green. If you have photos or memorabilia from the park please bring it to share!
