Teen Programs

The Teen Advisory Board will meet every Thursday evening at 5:00 PM in the Selinsgrove Community Library.  All teens are welcome to join.  The Teen Advisory Board creates programming for teens ages 12-18, recommends books for the young adult collection, writes teen reviews of new books and participates in volunteer opportunities at the library.

Selinsgrove Community Library will hold a Teen Movie/Game Night on the 3rd Friday of every month from 5:00 - 7:30 PM.  All teens are welcome to come, meet new friends, learn about great books to read, and have fun.

Selinsgrove Library Book Discussion Groups

The community is invited to participate in monthly book discussions at the Selinsgrove Library the second Tuesday of every month September 2007 through June 2008.  The library will host a morning discussion at 9 AM in the Selinsgrove Borough Chambers and an evening discussion at 7:00 PM in the lower level of the Selinsgrove Library.  Each month a new book will be discussed.  A monthly book list will be published in the Selinsgrove Library, in the Daily Item, and on the library's web site at www.snydercountylibraries.org.  This program is free and open to the public.  A limited number of monthly book titles will be available for purchase at the library to encourage community participation starting in August 2007.  Prices vary.  For more information please contact the Selinsgrove Library at 570-374-7163.
